The seasonal rains come to an end in April and the river levels have risen due to months of rain upstream, making Victoria Falls swell to its most powerful and majestic state. During this high-water season, the falls are stunning from both the Zambian and Zimbabwean sides. The masses of water thundering down into the ravine create a high volume of spray – be prepared to get misted on the viewing platforms!
