Explorer Safaris are ideal for first-time safari travelers, couples and friends traveling together, solo travelers joining a small group, and families with children ages 12 and older. They are created for travelers seeking a professionally curated safari experience with established routing, quality accommodations, and fully coordinated logistics — without the complexity of planning a fully custom journey from scratch.

what’s included?
While inclusions vary slightly by route, Explorer Safaris generally include safari accommodations, most meals, game drives and safari activities, airport and regional transfers, applicable internal safari flights, park and conservation fees, and Bushtracks pre-departure support. International airfare is not included.

explorer safari style & pace
Explorer Safaris are designed to balance comfort, wildlife viewing, and manageable travel pacing. Guests should be comfortable walking moderate distances over uneven terrain, climbing into safari vehicles and small aircraft unassisted where applicable, and participating in activities that may include boats, walking excursions, and open vehicle game drives. A high degree of physical fitness is not required, though travelers should be fully mobile and in good general health.
