Explorer Safaris are Bushtracks’ curated collection of proven private safari itineraries across Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Designed for travelers who want a professionally planned African safari without beginning with a blank page, each journey brings together selected camps and lodges, expert guiding, remarkable wildlife experiences, and coordinated logistics.

Choose the journey that speaks to you and travel privately with your own party of two or more on dates that work for you, subject to availability. There is no scheduled group to join and no fixed departure date to meet.

Every Explorer Safari is built around an established route that has been considered in full: how the landscapes connect, how long to stay, and what each destination contributes to the journey.

The departure dates are flexible, but the standards behind the experience remain fixed. Bushtracks coordinates the accommodations, guiding, transfers, regional flights where included, and the many details required to travel confidently through Africa.

FIVE COUNTRIES. TEN WAYS TO EXPLORE
The 2027 collection ranges from the waterways of Botswana’s Okavango Delta and the desert landscapes of Namibia to South Africa’s private reserves, Zambia’s river valleys, and Zimbabwe’s Victoria Falls and Hwange National Park.

Journeys range from seven to ten days and are designed for couples, friends, and families traveling together. They are equally suited to first-time safari travelers seeking a trusted place to begin and returning travelers ready to discover a new part of Africa.

WHAT TO EXPECT
While inclusions vary by itinerary, Explorer Safaris generally feature selected accommodations, most meals, scheduled game drives and safari activities, airport and regional transfers, internal flights where specified, park and conservation fees where specified, and Bushtracks planning and pre-departure support.

International airfare is not included. Complete inclusions, pricing, activity requirements, and travel details will be provided with each itinerary.

EXTEND YOUR JOURNEY IN CAPE TOWN
Five optional four-night Cape Town extensions can be added before or after selected Explorer Safaris, making it easy to pair time in the bush with the city’s natural beauty, history, food, art, and surrounding landscapes.
