Desert-Adapted Wildlife
This exquisitely beautiful wilderness area transitions between semi-desert and savanna, shrubland and rocky outcrops, with lots of Bushman art attesting that both man and animals have lived here for a very long time. The Haub River provides a water-source for kudu, springbok and oryx, as well as desert-adapted rhino and elephants, and lion and cheetah.
