The climate is upside down. Pollution is stealing our air, our water, and even our emotional well-being. Our Safari Legends journey began this morning at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. By 10 AM, our full group had gathered—four returning Bushtracks travelers, two new to the brand, and me. It’s a great mix of personalities, and there was instant camaraderie.

Good morning from the Intercontinental Johannesburg! My name is Alex, and I am on Day 1 of my reconnaissance trip in Zimbabwe with my husband Liam. We got married August 24, 2024 and this is our (belated) honeymoon. Admittingly, this is an unconventional way to spend a honeymoon. But we both share great passion for Africa and were dying to go on safari, no matter the pace.
