Mount Everest Summiteer

Mount Everest Summiteer

We are excited to share that a Mount Everest summiteer will join us during our time in Kathmandu, Nepal. Fewer than 0.0001% of the world’s population have stood on the 29,032-foot summit of the planet’s highest peak, and only about half of those who attempt the climb ever succeed. This seasoned high-altitude mountaineer has navigated the Himalayas’ most extreme challenges – from the treacherous Khumbu Icefall to the thin air of the death zone – on the way to standing at the very top of the world. Their perspective will offer a rare glimpse into the grit, resilience, and awe required to conquer Earth’s highest point. Details will be announced soon.

Trip Pace and Activity Level

Participants must be able to climb into and out of private aircraft and safari vehicles un-aided. Also, they must be able to climb up and down stairs without a railing. They should be fully mobile (wheelchairs and walkers cannot be accommodated) and capable of walking moderate distances at an easy pace, at times over rough terrain, and be able to withstand four-wheel-drive vehicles that travel over dirt roads and sometimes rough, bumpy ground. Due to the high altitude of some of the destinations, a moderate level of fitness is recommended.

Private Jet

Our long-range private jet is reserved exclusively for this expedition and custom-fitted for your comfort. Within its refined cabin, dedicated attendants provide fine meals, drinks, and thoughtful service, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Traveling by private jet allows you to move swiftly between destinations, while VIP ground handling at every airport ensures each transition is smooth and stress-free.

Climate & Seasonality

With the transition from winter to spring, March brings a warming trend across our destinations. We designed the journey from south to north to keep the temperature comfortable as we progress. We will start with hot and dry days in India. Weather in Nepal will be pleasant with the potential for occasional rain showers. Bhutan climate varies greatly by altitude: it is subtropical in the lowlands and colder at higher elevations. Expect days in Bhutan to be mild, with chilly mornings and evenings. A detailed weather chart and packing list will be shared in the preparation documents.
