OUR APPROACH TO CARBON OFFSETS
We are committed to reducing our environmental impact wherever possible and taking responsibility for emissions that cannot be eliminated. Bushtracks purchases and retires carbon credits sourced from Gold Standard–certified Africa-based projects, one of the world’s most rigorous and respected carbon certification frameworks. Gold Standard–certified projects are independently verified and deliver measurable climate benefits alongside meaningful social and environmental co-benefits. Carbon credits are retired annually and cannot be resold or reused. While offsetting is not a substitute for reducing emissions, it is an important part of our broader commitment to responsible travel and long-term conservation.
