The World Travel Awards (WTA) is the premier organization for recognizing and rewarding achievements in travel and tourism. They have announced the winners of their year-long search for the best travel, tourist, and hospitality companies worldwide. Travel industry professionals and the general public submit votes, with the candidate receiving the most votes in each category being declared the winner.

Kenya had a very impressive showing in Africa cementing its stature in the travel industry.
