Leopard are common, and hyena and African wild dog are also regularly seen, while a number of lion have moved into the area, and can sometimes be heard roaring at night.
Entertaining activities led by guides encourage children — and interested adults — to learn about and fall in love with wildlife and nature, for example, photography or catch-and-release fishing. Younger guests can paint with natural powder-paints or make a scrapbook. After dinner, young and old(er) can sit by the fire and listen to traditional Botswana stories or work off any remaining energy learning local dances.
