Over 1 Million Johnson & Johnson Vaccine Doses Arrived in Tanzania on July 24th

The vaccines were presented to Health Minister Dorothy Gwajima, Foreign Affairs Minister Liberata Mulamula, and US Ambassador to Tanzania, Donald J. Wright.

Health workers, persons 50 years and older, and those with chronic conditions are the first priority groups to receive the Covid-19 vaccination, according to Dr. Gwajima. Vaccines will be distributed in accordance with existing rules at various health facilities across the country. Ambassador Wright stated that immunizations are being shared to save lives and aid in the fight against the pandemic.
