Introducing our Newest Safari by Private Air for 2018

I was born and raised in Africa along with my three brothers. We are now scattered across three different continents, which makes family reunions both challenging and rare. Choosing a location that makes everyone happy is key, and our extended family found that in Southern Africa on safari.

Last year the four Tett brothers, our wives, and ten boisterous cousins took our first complete family reunion in 30 years, and we chose Southern Africa as the best place to do it. The diversity of landscapes, the stunning wildlife, and the excellent camp guides ensure that you see something new and amazing every day and that everyone in your family group can experience this magic at his or her own pace.

We know choosing a family safari is quite an investment, but growing up in Africa, we know that the return you get from family bonds and special times is much more valuable than the financial outlay. So we’ve taken great care in creating an eleven-day safari that you can enjoy with all members of your family: from grandparents to grandchildren and everyone in between. With all of the details taken care of, you and your family will have nothing to do but share the remarkable sightings and time together.

Why is this trip excellent for family groups? Three reasons: 1. Pacing and the order of camps

Considerable thought goes into the order of your journey and the time you spend in each of these distinctly unique places to ensure you see everything you hoped to see. We’ve included everything from Big Five sightings at a Greater Kruger private reserve to cultural encounters in Victoria Falls to boat rides in the Okavango Delta.

2. Travel by private air

If this is your first trip to Africa, you may not appreciate the time it takes to fly between destinations. Using an aircraft chartered just for our group allows us to minimize travel time, maximize time on the ground having fun, and ensure that your time in the air is as pleasant and relaxing as your time on the ground, with first-class meals and stunning aerial views.

3. Africa-based expedition leaders

Our expedition team hails from Africa, and have been Bushtracks’ traveler-favorites for over 20 years. They will thoughtfully manage your journey every step of the way, give you an insider’s perspective, and enrich your understanding of each day’s adventures.

In combination they ensure that you and your family experience the wonder of Africa together effortlessly and enjoy a life-changing experience on which you will reflect for years to come.
