Mahale Mountains N.P lies on the sandy shores of Lake Tanganyika, and is one of the most remote and beautiful of all Tanzania's national parks. It's a jungle out there ' the kind of place you'd expect Tarzan to live ' and one of few places to see chimpanzees, as well as olive baboons, red colobus and white spot nose mangabeys.
