Fausto Carbone

Bushtracks Naturalist Fausto Carbone

Born in Zimbabwe, Fausto’s interest in nature started at an early age. His love of the outdoors and keen interest in wildlife led into a career in professional guiding. Since 1998, Fausto has managed several lodges in Southern Africa, as well as lead numerous expeditions for Bushtracks through Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Zambia. While exploring all the major biomes of this magnificent part of the world, his guiding has taken him from canoeing expeditions on the Zambezi river, to tracking lions in the Okavango delta, to cultural explorations of cosmopolitan Cape Town. Fausto also has a passion for the night skies and astronomy, and he is looking forward to showing you and your family a truly African experience.
