Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Agadez off international flights.

Day 2

Drive to Iferouane, visiting ancient rock etchings enroute.

Lodging:Hotel Victorio (B,L,D)

Days 3 - 5

Drive via the Air Mountains, to the Tenere desert and the dunes near Chiriet. Discover the Blue Mountains, Neolithic sites, and ride camels Tuareg style.

Days 6 - 8

Drive to Arakao and the "Crab Claws." Explore rock art sites, old citadels, and swim in the Sahara.

Day 9

Drive to Ijuwa following the massif of Takoulou Rousette.

Lodging:Light weight overnight camp

Days 10 - 12

Drive to the oasis of Tabelot. Interact with ancient Tuareg villages and traditions, explore lush gardens of dates and fruit, and relax in your last Royal Desert Camp.
