Itinerary

11 Days/10 Nights

Day 1

Johannesburg, South Africa

Arrive in Johannesburg, South Africa off your international flight and check into your hotel.

Lodging: Safari Club

Days 2 - 4

Limpopo Province, South Africa

Ant's Hill is a private bush home located on its own game reserve in the magnificent Waterberg region of the Limpopo province. A wide range of activities are offered to keep everyone entertained, from the youngest to the oldest, the fittest to those most in need of a rest.

You can enjoy safari activities in a variety of ways: Guided game walks, from a gentle stroll down the plains to a more strenuous hike over rugged hills, which enables you to gain a detailed knowledge of African fauna and flora; Safaris in open 4 wheel drive Land-cruisers, which allow you to cover more ground and experience wildlife in a traditional but less energetic way; Horses offer some of the most exciting game viewing, whatever your age or riding ability.

Lodging: Ant's Hill

Days 5 - 7

Kruger National Park, South Africa

Fly by private charter aircraft to the Mala Mala Game Reserve. The Mala Mala Game Reserve shares an unfenced 12 mile border with the famed Greater Kruger National Park and lies between the park and the Sabi Sand Reserve. Over the next three days take jeep safaris in open four-wheel drive vehicles with rangers and trackers in search of the park's resident wildife: cheetah, zebra, wildebeest, black-backed jackal, wild dog, white rhino, black rhino, hippo and leopard.

Lodging: Mala Mala Main Camp

Days 8 - 10

KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

Take a scheduled flight to KwaZulu-Natal on the coast of South Africa. Your camp is set back in and shaded by the sanctuary of the lush Maputaland Coastal Forest covering the ancient dunes that make up the edge of South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal coast. With the Maputaland Marine Reserve just offshore and the beach a brisk 20-minute walk from the camp, there are world-class diving and snorkelling, remote, unspoilt beaches, horseback riding and other beach adventures to be had.

From a scuba diving perspective, Rocktail Bay is unique. Not only is the diving conducted within a Reserve and World Heritage Site along unspoiled reefs, but divers have the luxury of knowing that they alone have access to these sites and are the only underwater visitors along this stretch of the coastline.
