On your arrival into Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met and road transferred to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge where you will spend your first two nights. The Victoria Falls areas has a number of exciting activities such as visiting the Falls, white water rafting, bunji jumping, elephant rides, walking with lions and a great highlight is the 'flight of the Angels' a spectacular helicopter, fixed wing or micro-light flight over the falls
After breakfast on your last morning in Victoria Falls you will be road transferred to Hwange Main Camp passing through traditional Ndebele villages on your way. You will be met by your guide at Hwange Main Camp and transferred by game drive to Somalisa Camp, set in the heart of Hwange National Park where you will spend three nights. Activities include guided walks led by qualified guides, game drives and spot lighting as well as game viewing from hides.
After your last morning activity at Somalisa Camp you will be transferred by light air charter to Mana Pools where you will spend two nights at Vundu Tented Camp. Game abounds on the flood plains and in the mopane woodlands of Mana Pools. There is the choice of taking game drives in open-topped four-wheel drive vehicles or walking with professional guides. The opportunity to leave one’s vehicle and track game on foot is an experience rare in the national parks of Africa and in Mana Pools in particular this provides the visitor with the chance to track game in safety with an experienced professional.
After your last morning activity at Vundu Tented Camp, you will begin your two night Canoeing and Walking Safari which takes you along the length of Mana Pools National Park. Glide with us down the mighty Zambezi, one of the great rivers of Africa, on a two-night waterborne safari, covering new territory every day. A back-up team will set up camps well ahead of you each night. These are tented camps on the banks of the river. In total you will probably do about 8 hours of light paddling in a steady current of about five kilometres an hour. There are plenty of opportunities to walk and explore the Mana Pools wilderness areas, well off the beaten track. Wildlife to be seen includes hippos, crocodiles, lions, wild dogs, leopard, hyenas, elephant, buffalo, waterbuck and many other antelope. Arrive at your next campsite in the late afternoon before taking a game drive to see the interior of the park with its extensive acacia woodlands and teeming wildlife.
After your last morning in Mana Pools you will be transferred by light air charter to Victoria Falls International Airport and your onward travel arrangements.
