Arrive Delhi, India.
Take a commercial flight from Delhi to Paro, Bhutan. Hike to the Tiger's Nest monastery, visit the National Museum and a local farmhouse.
Drive to Punakha over Dochu La Pass at 10,000 feet. En route stop to see the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong.
Drive to Wangduephodrang, a typical small Bhutanese town for lunch then continue on to Thimphu, the nation's capital. Full day excursion around Thimphu including the National Library, Tashichhodzong and handicrafts emporium.
Drive to Phuentsholing on the Bhutan-India border. En route visit the oldest fortress in Bhutan and Kharbandi Gompa.
Drive to Siliguri to cross the border into India where you will be met and driven on to Glenburn. Visit Darjeeling including the Bengal Natural History Museum, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and a ride on the narrow gauge railroad. Tour the tea plantation and take walks around the estate.
Drive to Gangtok stopping en route at the Rumtek Monastery, the largest in the area. Explore the town and visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology.
Drive to Bagdogra Airport for a commercial flight to Delhi and connect with international flights home.
