The southern region of Ethiopia is home to many ethnic tribes including the Hamer, Karo and Mursi, each with its own fascinating cultures, ceremonies and traditions. On this nine-day journey you'll visit with these indigenous people in their native villages and learn about their unique cultural practices, ceremonies and daily life. Many have sophisticated and interesting ways of living which are not to be missed.

Commercial flight to Arbaminch then drive to Jinka, admiring the different cultures along the way. Visit the KeyAfer market and the local Mursi village where the women insert round plates into their lips.
Drive to Turmi and check in to your lodge. Visit the villages of the Hamer and Karo people.
Drive to Arbaminch and visit Erbore and Konso villages along the way. Take an excursion to the mountains of Chencha to visit the Dorze people. Also explore Netch Sar National Park and take a boat ride on Chamo Lake.
Today drive from Arbaminch to Yirgalem and check in to your lodge.
