Itinerary

5 Day Zanzibar Getaway

Day 1

Zanzibar

On arrival, you will be met and driven to your Stone Town accommodation. You will have the opportunity to tour fabled Stone Town, where history seems to stand still. Visit the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People's Palace), Dr. Livingstone's House and the Arab Fort, a facinating look at the essence of Zanzibar. A trip to the exotic site of Sultan Barghash's harem at Marahubi shows insight to Zanzibar's history and vibrant culture.

Lodging: A Stone Town Hotel

Days 2 - 4

Zanzibar

You will be transferred to your accommodation located on coast. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, diving and relaxing for the next three days. Scuba diving in Zanzibar is not restricted to beginners. Experienced divers can enoy exciting wall dives, night dives and drift dives. Good visibility and warm average water temperatures provide great diving opportunities. In deeper waters, lush coral gardens often stretch as far as the eye can see and large gamefish (barracuda, kingfish, tuna and wahoo) hunt together with large Napoleonic wrasse, graceful manta rays and sharkss. Shallower waters are the playground of tropical fish, including a huge variety of Indo-Pacific marine fauna.

Lodging: Shooting Star Lodge, The Palms, or Matemwe Retreat

Day 5
