Serengeti Migration and the Masai Mara

The annual spectacle of migrating wildebeests and zebras takes place across an immense theater stage: the 12,000 square mile Serengeti-Masai Mara ecosystem. While experienced guides are generally able to predict the location of the 1.5 million wildebeests plus hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles, you are best assured of witnessing the spectacle with stops at multiple locations on the migration circuit which spans the northernmost part of the Masai Mara National Reserve and down to the southern end of the Serengeti National Park. With stays in both the Masai Mara and the Serengeti, you will have the opportunity to enjoy viewing the famous massive herds, as well as the abundant year-round resident wildlife found in the reserves. Get ready to watch the drama of survival unfold before your eyes as the largest land mammal migration on earth draws the attention of lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hungry crocodiles.
