      Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

A Taste of Africa at Its Best

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge provides luxury accommodation in Victoria Falls. Set high on a natural plateau, the westward facing Victoria Falls Safari Lodge borders the Zambezi National Park and is just two miles from the thundering Victoria Falls, Southern Africa's foremost attraction. Enjoying uninterrupted views of spectacular African sunsets and year round game at its on-site waterhole, accommodation at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is ideally positioned to offer the most discerning traveler a taste of Africa at its best. Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. David Livingstone, the Scottish explorer, is believed to have been the first European to view the falls, and he named them Victoria Falls, the name still used in Zimbabwe. The older, indigenous name of Mosi-oa-Tunya is the name in official use in Zambia. The World Heritage List recognizes both names. While it is neither the highest nor the widest waterfall in the world, it is claimed to be the largest. This claim is based on a width of 5,600 ft and height of 360 ft, forming the largest sheet of falling water in the world. All rooms have digital safes, international direct dial phones, remote control air conditioning, hairdryers, fans, mosquito nets, message pads, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, extra length beds and an extensive range of customized toiletries including insect repellent. Five of the deluxe double rooms can accommodate a rollaway bed for a child under 12 years old. Victoria Falls Safari Lodge boasts a number of resort activities where guests can experience an enhanced bush, wildlife and safari experience. An activities desk is situated in the lodge so you always have a friendly face to assist you in choosing an activity that will best suit your day. Some of the resort activities on offer include: hide sits, guided safari walks, nature trails, bird watching, a swimming pool with sun deck, and private bush dinners, among others.
