      The Country House at Hunter's

Warm, Welcoming Hospitality Along the Garden Route

Fragrant and colorful, the property’s luxurious gardens create an idyllic setting for this opulent retreat in the heart of the Garden Route. The Country House combines gracious elegance with sheer comfort and impeccable service with warm hospitality. Far from the crowd, yet conveniently close to a wide variety of leisure activities. Probably one of the first things that guests notice about the Country House is the sense of "home". It starts at the beginning of the driveway with enticing views into secret gardens abundant with butterflies and fragranced air. Then the team and the house itself seem to embody a feeling of family and belonging - of coming home. The individual thatched cottage suites are plush and calming, decorated in a pale green and oyster palette accented with a romantic sparkle of crystal-trimmed canopies and dainty chandeliers. A privately positioned patio and garden makes for tranquil relaxation, reflection and reconnection. Secluded within the gardens are 18 luxurious suites, individually designed and decorated. All have private patios and gardens, certain suites have their own plunge pools while all guests can enjoy the hotel’s large sparkling outdoor pool. The Country House welcomes and caters for children of all ages. The new two-bedroom family suites provide spacious accommodation where the whole family can truly relax in their ‘private home’ and the Summer House is the perfect venue for informal family meals, or where younger guests can enjoy delicious wholesome food while parents savor several courses at the elegantly appointed Zinzi Restaurant. Cubs’ Corner, where younger children are minded by trained staff, is a dedicated children’s recreation area with a paddling pool, jungle gym, shaded sandpit, video / TV / games room and dining room. An entertainment area geared to older children is envisaged for the near future. Activities on the estate and close by include forest walks, family fun and activities for all including a Boules court, a swimming pool and general relaxation in verdant gardens. Day trips for animal viewing, horseback riding, ocean adventures and various activities can be arranged at an extra cost.

If you don’t see availability above, don’t worry. We may still be able to find space on your desired days... just ask.
