      Chobe Water Villas

Luxury villas at the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers

One of the first things you'll notice on arrival to Chobe Water Villas is the spectacular infinity pool and relaxing pool deck which extend seamlessly from the main lodge building and offer amazing and unobstructed views of the Chobe River, Sedudu Island and Chobe National Park. A 36-seat restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, while other areas for gathering include a cozy cocktail bar and lounge as well as the private library lounge with its complimentary all day tea and coffee butler station. The luxury Water Villas all include a guaranteed 180-degree, unobstructed view of the Chobe River and the Chobe National Park. These “junior suites” have an open plan lounge and bedroom area and include a front terrace facing the Chobe River with sun loungers and a rear terrace facing the natural bush and spectacular sunsets. The generous bathroom consists of a double vanity and separate bath, shower and toilet. The open plan bedroom and lounge face the spectacular Chobe River through floor-to-ceiling glass doors, which fold back completely along the entire width of the room and onto the front terrace. Each Villa offers a mattress/bed configuration of either extra-length “soft-top” king or two, three-quarter beds. The pool deck is sculptured to feature areas for dining, lounging, sunbathing or socializing around open fires according to a true African tradition – the safari campfire. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon high tea, sundowner drinks, dinner and night caps can be enjoyed outdoors while viewing wildlife along the Chobe River. A special feature is the conversation pits, each with an open fire facing the Chobe River. Choices of the following four activities (two per night booked) are included in the daily room rate: a morning game drive in Chobe National Park, a morning Chobe River safari cruise, an afternoon Chobe River safari and sunset cruise along the banks of the Chobe National Park, or an afternoon cultural and sunset boat cruise on the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers. More activities are available at an additional cost including cultural tours, an Impalila Island cultural village tour, Mokoro (canoe) excursions, scenic helicopter flights, fishing charters, and photographic river safaris.
