      Breezes Beach Club

A Modern Resort in Historic Zanzibar

For a thousand years, Zanzibar was one of the world’s crossroads of trade, with Persians, Arabs and Europeans attracted to its exotic exports. Breezes Beach Club is a large, 70-room resort occupying a lovely stretch of beach along the Michamvi Peninsula. All of the rooms at Breezes Beach Club are similar in size and interior décor. Each of the spacious rooms has a comfortable double bed draped in mosquito netting, cream tiled floors and local Zanzibari furnishings. Air conditioning keeps the rooms cool while little touches such as fresh flowers and natural fabrics make the rooms welcoming and peaceful. A private terrace provides views of beautifully sculptured gardens, while being in close proximity to the ocean. Additional amenities include in room safe box and refrigerator. The en-suite bathrooms at Breezes Beach Club are a continuation of the rooms with cream tiled floors, and cream walls. They are spacious and spotlessly clean with a flush toilet, sink and a hot-and-cold shower. There are numerous activities found within the resort’s grounds including tennis courts, movie room, fitness center, swimming pool, a dive center and a well-stocked water sports and activities center where you can hire bikes, snorkels, floating trampolines, volleyballs and kite surfing. Optional touring of Stone Town, the Jozani Forest, or Prison Island as well as the Spice Tours can also be arranged at a supplementary cost. Please advise if you are interested in additional activities and we will confirm availability and pricing.
