Bushtracks Expeditions was founded by the Tett family, whose members have lived in Africa for six generations.
Growing up in this inspiring wilderness nurtured a belief in sustainable conservation and a commitment to improving the lives of the people who live in the places we visit. All of our travel programs take the following into consideration:
Over the years Bushtracks has worked with a number of organizations and local efforts including: Kapani School Project, Mfuwe, Zambia; Louis Sarno and the BaAka Pygmy Communities of Bayanga, CAR; Qantu Association, Cuzco, Peru; World Wildlife Fund and the Wildlife Conservation Society. Bushtracks has established relationships with Generosity in Action to assist travelers in making tax-deductible donations to the Ebenezer School and Orphanage in Livingstone, Zambia, as well as the African Wildlife Foundation, the leading conservation organization focused solely on Africa.
