Our USA Leadership

David and Carolyn Tett

President and Co-founder

David Tett was born and raised in Zimbabwe. With a BS c in DNA technology from the University of Cape Town, he has traveled throughout Southeast Asia, North and South India, as well as extensively throughout Africa, including unusual destinations such as Principe Island, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Malawi, and Angola.

Vice President and Co-founder

California native Carolyn Tett was raised in Atherton and attended the University of California at Berkeley and University of St. Andrews in Scotland and has a BA in Political Science. Since Bushtracks was formed in 1989, she has visited more than one hundred and fifty properties in Southern and Eastern Africa, India and South America. She heads Bushtracks’ Customized Travel Department and brings a personal passion for designing “trips of a lifetime” for our travelers.
